What we collect

When you submit a form, request a free audit, or subscribe to a service, we collect your name, email address, and business information you provide. When you use our products, we collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and content generated. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

Proposal and customer data

When you create proposals through Atlas, you may input information about your customers including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. This data is stored securely in our database and used solely to generate and deliver proposals on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share your customers' information with Atlas for this purpose. Atlas does not use your customers' data for marketing or any purpose other than delivering the service you requested.

How we use it

We use your information to operate and improve Atlas products, process payments, send transactional emails (welcome, billing, password reset), and provide customer support. We do not sell your data to third parties.

AI and your data

Content you generate through Atlas products (websites, proposals, voice agents) belongs to you. Your business data is not used to train our AI models. We use third-party AI providers to power product features — your data is sent to these providers only as needed to deliver the service.

Orion AI phone calls and recordings

Orion, our AI phone receptionist, answers and processes calls on your behalf. To deliver this service, calls may be recorded, transcribed, and summarized, and call data (caller phone number, call time, transcript, and summary) is stored so we can send you the lead details. As the business owner using Orion, you are responsible for any call-recording disclosure or consent your jurisdiction requires from callers. Some states require all parties to a call to consent to recording. Call recordings and transcripts are processed by our voice and telephony providers (Vapi and Twilio) and retained for the duration of your subscription unless you request earlier deletion.

Atlas Sign and e-signatures

When you or your customers sign documents through Atlas Sign, we collect and store the signature, any required initials, the signer's name, the signing timestamp, and related audit-trail information (such as IP address and view history) so the signed document is legally verifiable. This data is stored securely and used solely to create and maintain the signed agreement and its audit trail.

Third-party services

Atlas uses the following third-party services to deliver our products. Your data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

Anthropic (AI language models) · Supabase (database and storage) · Netlify (hosting) · Stripe (payments) · Resend (transactional email) · Vapi (voice AI receptionist) · Twilio (telephony for AI calls) · ElevenLabs (voice synthesis) · fal.ai (image and video generation) · Microsoft Clarity (anonymized analytics) · Google Docs Viewer (PDF preview)

Data storage and retention

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Files and media are stored in Supabase Storage. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS. When you cancel your account, your data is retained for 30 days to allow reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted. Proposal data and generated PDFs are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days.

Cookies

We use localStorage for session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our site through anonymized session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity does not collect personally identifiable information.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing ryan@buildatlas.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know what data we collect, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt out of data sales (we do not sell data).

Children's privacy

Atlas is a business-to-business service intended for use by individuals 18 years or older who are operating a business. Atlas is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

If you are located outside the United States, including the UK, EU, Canada, or Australia, we process your information as described in this policy. You may contact us at any time to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and we honor such requests regardless of where you live.
